REading tutoring

I am a certified tutor in the Barton Reading and Spelling System. Barton is an Orton-Gillingham based program which produces results. In my tutoring sessions, I use games and teaching aids to meet the needs of each person. The pace will be unique to the student. I tutor for 50 minutes per session at least two times per week.

Math tutoring

Does your dyslexic student struggle with basic math facts and calculations? Does your child use his fingers for addition and subtraction? I have been trained in a multi-sensory math program for dyslexics. I use games, visual aids, and hands-on manipulatives to help your child with math. I begin my tutoring at the level that is appropriate for each person. I teach the basic math operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division as well as fractions, decimals, percentages and beginning algebra. I tutor for 50 minutes per session at least one time per week.
